Gifts & Donations!

CCAAF wishes to thank the following individuals and organizations for their generous financial help!

We could not do our work without this support!

The Crittenden Foundation on behalf of the foster work done by Denise Fletcher.

The Kroger Community Fund (through Kroger card use)

The Community Foundation (grant towards dog spay/neuter services)

Two Mauds (grant towards feline spay/neuter services)

PetSmart Charities

Thanks to a targeted spay/neuter grant from PetSmart Charities, CCAAF has provided surgeries to over 243 free roaming cats in the 37015 zip code! This area (Ashland City) has historically been the largest contributor of unwanted cats and kittens to our county animal control office. The goal of this program is to prevent as many unplanned births as possible by trapping feral cats, altering and ear tipping (to show they are altered) and by altering owned,  free roaming animals (those tame cats allowed to live outside). Our twice monthly mobile clinics (provided by Nashville Humane’s Rover Service and The Pet Community Center) are helping CCAAF in our goal to alter 360 cats before July.

Help us spread the word–if you have a neighbor with multiple outdoor cats (or even one) give them our number. We can help regardless of ability to pay. 615.829.8984.

Thanks Cheatham County for making a paws-i-tive difference in the health of our county!

Floating The Harpeth This Weekend?

If you’re planning to spend your Saturday floating the Harpeth this Saturday (6/21) with Foggy Bottom Canoe Rental, bring a few extra bucks to spend on grilled hot dogs, hamburgers and all the fixing! CCAAF volunteers will be serving lunches on site for a very reasonable price–and any extra donation helps us provide more homes for animals in Cheatham County!

CCAAF will be on site from 11:30-4:30 this Saturday, June 21. Hope to see you there!

Help For Stella

Stella Girl StellaAt CCAAF, our focus is on spay/neuter and rescue, but when an animal comes to us in need, we try to never turn it down. Stella came to us from animal control. Found wandering the streets, we believe her owner let her go because she needed surgery to repair a torn ACL. Stella is a 7 year old Lab, currently living with one of our foster families. She is on pain meds to help her cope until we can raise the funds for her surgery, which will cost approximately $500.00 through a local vet. CCAAF has committed to the surgery once Stella loses 20lbs., but we need help to pay for it. Any amount would help. CCAAF is a 501c3 organization, so your donation is completely tax deductible. You can donate through the PayPal link on this site, or by sending a check to P.O. Box 361, Pegram, TN 37143. Thank you for helping us help Stella!

The Goal–500 Views By 2/7!

The YouTube video is up to 277 views! Help us reach 500 views by the end of the week! If 100 people donate $10.00 per month (you can use a recurring charge on PayPal) it will pay for the expenses associated with our adoption/rescue program! But we can’t do it without your help!

Coming Monday, February 3

What features locally sourced talent, including a Grammy winning banjo player; a nationally touring band whose harmonies are unmistakable and motivates you to donate money to CCAAF? Tune in here Monday to find out!
